How the Diaper Derby “Crawling Race” Works:

The Rules: Participants are usually under 12 months old and must not be walking yet. (Walkers enter the Diaper Dash)

If the baby stands up and/or walks he/she will be disqualified. Parents may not reach across the finish line to get their baby until the race is over.

The Lure: Parents stand at the finish line and try to entice their child to crawl forward. They are allowed to use specific toys, cell phones, or food, but cannot cross the finish line or physically pull the baby.

***Depending on how many babies are racing, there will be additional races and then the final crawl-off***

Attire: Your Choice

The Winner: The first baby to fully cross the finish line is crowned the winner.

Early Registration at Metcalfe Chamber Office or Jody Curry Used Cars (recommended) on site at 9:45AM June 6th.
